Mead Is For Over-18s
We sell alcoholic beverages and you must be aged 18 or over to purchase alcohol from us.
By placing an order containing alcohol, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you are legally entitled to purchase alcohol in the United Kingdom.
Alcohol must not be purchased on behalf of anybody under the age of 18.
The person receiving an alcohol delivery must also be aged 18 or over. Our delivery provider may request suitable proof of age before handing over a parcel.
Where satisfactory proof of age cannot be provided when required, delivery may be refused.
Our age-verification procedures may be amended from time to time to reflect our licensing obligations, delivery arrangements and applicable law.
-
Small-Batch Means A Little Character
We take reasonable care to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, bottle sizes, ingredients, allergen information and alcohol content displayed on our website are accurate.
Because our mead is produced in small batches using agricultural ingredients such as honey, fruit and botanicals, there may be minor natural variations in colour, flavour or appearance between batches.
Product photographs are for illustrative purposes and packaging, labels and presentation may occasionally differ slightly from the images shown on our website.
Any such variations will not affect your statutory rights where goods are faulty, materially different from their description or otherwise fail to meet the standards required by law.
-
What You See Is What You'll Pay
Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£).
The total price payable for your order, including any applicable taxes and delivery charges, will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Delivery charges may vary according to the destination, quantity ordered or delivery service selected. Details of available delivery options and charges will be displayed during checkout.
We may change our prices at any time, but a price change will not affect an order we have already accepted.
If we discover an obvious pricing or listing error before accepting an order, we may contact you to correct the error or cancel the affected item. If payment has already been taken for an order that we cannot fulfil, the appropriate amount will be refunded.
-
From Basket To Bottle
Our website allows you to select products, add them to your basket and review your order before payment. Before submitting your order, you will have an opportunity to review the products selected, quantities, delivery information and total price and to correct any errors.
By completing checkout, you are placing an order and agreeing to pay the amount displayed.
After you place an order, we will send you an email confirming that we have received it.
Once your payment has been successfully processed, we'll send you an order confirmation email. A contract between you and us is formed when we send this order confirmation, subject to these Terms & Conditions.
Contracts made through our website are concluded in English.
Please check the details in your order confirmation and contact us promptly if anything appears incorrect.
-
Keeping Checkout Simple
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods offered during checkout.
Payment methods available may change from time to time.
You must be authorised to use the payment method provided for your order.
All payments are processed through our website and payment providers. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details.
-
Small Batches Don't Last Forever
All products are subject to availability.
Because we produce in small batches, some varieties or bottle sizes may occasionally sell out.
If we are unable to supply something you have ordered, we will let you know as soon as reasonably possible. We will not substitute a materially different product without your agreement.
If we cannot fulfil an item for which payment has already been taken, we will refund the amount paid for that item.
-
Getting Your Mead To You
Available delivery services, charges and estimated delivery times are explained on our Delivery Information page and during checkout.
Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but, unless we specifically agree otherwise, they are estimates rather than guaranteed delivery dates.
We will take reasonable steps to deliver your order within the timeframe stated when you order and within any period required by law.
If circumstances outside our reasonable control cause a significant delay, we will contact you where reasonably possible and your statutory rights will not be affected.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Please check your delivery information carefully before completing your order.
Our responsibility for the goods generally continues until they are delivered into your physical possession, or to another person you have identified to receive them, in accordance with applicable consumer law.
More information is available in our Delivery Information policy.
-
A Little Proof May Be Required
Alcohol deliveries are subject to age-verification requirements.
The delivery provider may ask the recipient for acceptable photographic identification where age verification is required.
If the recipient cannot demonstrate that they are aged 18 or over when required to do so, the delivery may be refused and returned to us.
Alcohol should not be ordered for delivery where there will be no suitable adult available to receive it where an in-person age check is required.
If a parcel is returned to us following an unsuccessful age-verification check, please contact us so that we can explain the options available.
-
Sometimes Plans Change
When you purchase goods from us online as a consumer, you will normally have a legal right to change your mind.
For most eligible orders, you have 14 days after receiving your goods to tell us that you wish to cancel.
After notifying us, you normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.
For change-of-mind returns, you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods to us unless we have agreed otherwise or the law requires us to pay the return cost.
We ask that bottles are returned unopened, unused and securely packaged wherever possible.
You are responsible for taking reasonable care of goods while they are in your possession. Where permitted by law, we may make an appropriate deduction from a refund where goods have been handled beyond what would reasonably be necessary to inspect them and this has reduced their value.
Different rules apply where goods are faulty, damaged or not as described.
Full details can be found in our Returns & Refunds policy.
-
We'll Put Things Right
Goods supplied by us must meet the standards required by UK consumer law, including being as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose.
If your order arrives damaged, contains the wrong product or you believe an item is faulty, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.
Where possible, please provide your order number together with photographs of the goods, parcel and packaging. This helps us investigate damage with our delivery provider and can allow us to resolve the issue more quickly.
Requesting photographs does not remove or restrict your statutory rights.
Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, an appropriate remedy may include a replacement or refund.
Where faulty or damaged goods need to be returned to us, we will meet the reasonable return costs where required by law.
Please see our Returns & Refunds policy for further information.
-
Getting Your Money Back
Refunds will be processed in accordance with our Returns & Refunds policy and applicable consumer law.
Where you validly cancel an eligible online purchase, any refund due will normally include the price of the returned goods and the cost of our least expensive standard delivery service.
If you selected a more expensive delivery service, we are not required to refund the additional cost of that upgrade.
Refunds will normally be made to the payment method originally used for the purchase.
-
Offers From Time To Time
We may occasionally offer discount codes, promotions, competitions or special offers.
Additional terms may apply to individual promotions and will be explained when the promotion is offered.
Unless otherwise stated, promotions cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be applied retrospectively to orders that have already been placed.
We reserve the right to refuse or withdraw a promotion where it has been used fraudulently or contrary to its stated terms. This does not affect contracts already validly concluded except where permitted by law.
-
When Something Unexpected Happens
Occasionally events outside our reasonable control may affect our ability to fulfil an order, such as serious transport disruption, severe weather, industrial action or failures affecting delivery networks.
If this happens, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the effect on your order and will contact you where appropriate.
Nothing in this section limits any right you may have to cancel an order or receive a refund under applicable consumer law.
-
Keeping Things Fair
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of us breaching these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill.
We are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was entered into.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, we do not accept responsibility for losses relating solely to a business, including loss of profits, revenue or business opportunity.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts your statutory rights in relation to faulty goods, goods that are not as described or other rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
-
Looking After Your Details

Information about how we collect, use and protect personal information can be found in our Privacy Policy.
Information about cookies and similar technologies can be found in our Cookie Policy, where applicable.
-
Keeping Things Up To Date
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time, for example where our services, delivery arrangements or legal obligations change.
The terms applying to an order will be those in force when the relevant contract was made. Changes made afterwards will not retrospectively alter an existing contract unless required by law or agreed with you.
