From a Conversation to a Craft

It started with a conversation about bees, beekeeping, and the extraordinary role pollinators play in the landscapes around us.

We heard first-hand from people who care deeply about their hives, tasted honey with a depth and character far beyond anything on a supermarket shelf, and realised there was a story here worth telling.

That moment stayed with us. British honey deserved more attention. Mead felt like the natural way to give it one.

Wiltshire at Our Core

Our mead begins with honey sourced as locally as possible, alongside fruit and ingredients from Wiltshire and the wider UK wherever we can.

Every ingredient is chosen with intention: for flavour, provenance, and the character it brings to the finished bottle. Only the spices in our winter spiced mead travel further, simply because they are not grown commercially in the UK. Everything else is sourced as locally as possible, keeping our mead rooted close to home.

Supporting Bees & Beekeepers

Our mead begins with local honey, sourced from beekeepers we’re proud to support through fair prices and lasting relationships. As we grow, we’re also taking our first steps into keeping our own hives, deepening our connection to the bees, the honey, and the landscapes that shape every bottle.

Brewed with Care

Mead may be ancient, but we believe it deserves a modern place at the table.

We craft our mead in small batches, blending traditional methods with careful recipe development and a focus on clean, expressive flavour. Every bottle is made to let the honey, fruit, and botanicals speak for themselves.

Made with Care from Hive to Bottle

Every bottle tells part of a bigger story: British honey, local ingredients, small-batch craft, and the people working to protect the landscapes that make it all possible.
